WINTER MENU
Participating in seasonal changes in our cafe feels really special. Our big front window gives us a front row seat to all the rain and sun, the falling autumn leaves and swirling snow. It's the perfect space to take it all in and feel extra cozy.
With the weather shifting we get to craft some fun, wintery drinks for a new menu, reflecting both seasonal and traditional flavors. This menu was our very first when we opened almost a year ago! It's hard to believe we've come full circle, and if you were here for the Orange Cardamom and the Vanilla Fig Coffee Soda, you know you're in for a treat. For our newcomers - we're glad you're here. It's been a crazy and wild year, and even as we've strived to be a welcoming and warm environment, we've felt the welcome in the community and we couldn't be more grateful for your support.

First up on the menu, Get Figgy was our most experimental and rewarding drink from our first menu. We knew we wanted to try out a coffee soda and see how well it went over. It's a little funky at first glance - espresso reduction with sugar, figs and vanilla? Mixed with sparkling water?
Sometimes trying something new is the best thing you can do. Get Figgy ended up being a smash hit fan favorite, and prompted the launch of other seasonal coffee sodas for every menu. Gosh, we're so glad it's back.
Feeling a little indulgent? This drink gets a creamy richness when you add half & half.
It’s the Zest, formerly known as Orange Cardamom Latte, has always been an easy choice. The flavors are delightful and festive without being overt. Scratch-made cardamom syrup with espresso, served with orange sugar and your choice of milk. Perfectly spiced, bright and cozy, this latte is a perfect choice allll winter long.
New this year is the Triple B! We make a cold brew out of some pretty special barrel-aged beans. First, we age green coffee for 4 weeks in a brandy barrel from Driftless Glen. The barrel that we affectionately call Chad most recently had Driftless Glen Brandy, but that Brandy was cask-finished in the barrel that had vanilla bourbon. So basically, it's a brandy vanilla bourbon aged cold brew - whew! But that's too long, so we just call it Triple B. Lots of boozy warmth, vanilla and fruitcake notes, it's elevated Cold Brew for winter and it's really dang good.
The Vanilla Maple Matcha Latte is a classic for a reason. Real maple syrup and vanilla syrup from vanilla pods, are whisked with matcha from the Yamaguchi family in Japan, with notes of cherry blossom, toasted rice, and sesame. We intentionally use matcha that's not pre-sweetened with sugar to give you the most flavorful matcha experience. A little earthy + a little sweet, all made from premium ingredients and lots of care. You're going to love it.
Not a winter special but introduced on our first winter menu is the Miso Caramel Latte, which was our answer to a vegan caramel latte. It's become so popular, we just keep it on the menu year-round, but it deserves a little shout out here. Scratch-made vegan caramel made with coconut cream and miso, served with sesame sugar and your choice of milk. We love the savory notes in the caramel, elevating the drink while creating something accessible for all our customers.
