We source a rotating selection of single origin Mountain Water Process or EA process coffees that bring the depth and character we want out of dark roasted decaf coffee to fit the profile you love. Whether it's an after-dinner decaf or a super flavorful morning brew for when you need to cut back on caffeine, this coffee provides all of the enjoyment and none of the jitters.

Most of the decaf offerings are Mountain or Swiss Water Process. These coffees are decaffeinated using pure spring water. Each batch of beans is steamed to create a green coffee extract, which is passed through a filter to remove only the caffeine content, then re-introduced to the green coffee. This process retains all the flavor and nuance inherent to the green coffee while removing 99% of the naturally occurring caffeine, all without the use of chemical additives or solvents.

Occasionally we'll bring in a really yummy decaf that is processed with Ethyl Acetate. EA is a naturally occurring organic compound found in many fruits and vegetables. There are natural and synthetic forms of EA, and we choose coffees processed with only the natural byproduct from sugar cane, which helps preserve the integrity of the coffee while giving you an excellent decaf brew.
